Internet Business Ideas: Every internet business is different and I know most people have been dreaming about starting their own business for ever. I would like to know, in your own words, what your idea was for www.TakingSpace.com.

TakingSpace.comwas designed to be a website that individuals and couples who are experience relationship problems could log onto. Realizing that there are numerous websites for marriage enrichment and divorce etc... There are very few that specialize in just separations. My book Taking Space – How to Use Separation to Explore the Future of Your Relationship forms the foundation for all other products and services I plan to offer on the website. Taking Space would be an educational website offering my book, DVDs, CDs, podcasts, taped teleconferences, telecourses and perhaps an online community for people to visit. Educational information about relationships, separations, self development etc... Would be offered in addition to support from other individuals going through similar experiences.

I have been in a private counseling practicefor 28 years and in counseling/psychotherapy for 37 years. I have done training in mental health for many of these same years. The internet has grown and developed during this time. I realize that I can deliver much information about mental health, relationships and especially the value of separations over the internet. This is a huge vehicle for marketing my information and services that I want to begin using. My market is very large and the internet is ideal for reaching people.

Your Website Design: Can you tell customers about how / why you had us design your website the way it is. Please let us know in your own words how WebBizIdeas.com designed your site. Are you happy with it, do you have future plans to develop it more?

My website was designed the way it is in order to get visitors to find useful information. I did not want a “pretty or artistic site” but more of a functional site where I would draw in those people interested in what I had to say and the information I am selling. I also realize that a website is always a “work in progress”, so I will continue to change and add content to make it more appealing to potential customers.

Who is your target audience? This will be very helpful for you in the search engines if you include ‘keywords’ that you are trying to obtain listings for in the search engines.

I believe that I have a huge target audience. There is seldom any one that I talk with who is not personally (or knows someone who is) struggling with a relationship or thinking about a separation or divorce. Divorce rate is about 50% and all relationships must go through some type of separation before it ends. My book and information targets this population. Taking Space can be applied to intact couples as well as divorcing couples but I think my niche is when at least one partner is thinking about space and separation. Key words would be: separation, divorce, marriage, relationships, etc…

When my book was self published, March 2006, I worked with Greenleaf Book Group to produce and distribute it to bookstores, Amazon.com etc... This has been successful to get it into bookstores all over the country. We worked with a group to “jumpstart” our marketing and advertising when the book first came out. This was primarily Radio, TV Interview Reports etc... Being released on the internet, newspapers etc... We have signed up with a marketing coach who specializes in self published authors who is linking us up with all kinds of marketing resources. So… we would like to know what WebBizIdeas.com ideas are re: marketing and also run our ideas re: internet marketing passed you. Whether the ideas are yours or ours, we would like to consider WebBizIdeas.com the company that can execute the ideas onto our website and search engines etc…
